Terms and Conditions – Tromsø BNB AS
These booking terms apply to Tromsø BNB AS, org. no. (834 086 972), hereafter referred to as the provider.
The terms apply between the provider and the person responsible for renting an accommodation unit with Tromsø BNB and their travel party, hereafter referred to as the guest.
The agreement covers the rental of accommodation units and any additional products offered by Tromsø BNB AS.
1. Provider’s Responsibilities
The provider is responsible for:
Supplying the guest with written confirmation of their booking and necessary check-in instructions.
Ensuring that the accommodation corresponds to the description provided at the time of booking.
Delivering all services and facilities included in the reservation.
The provider reserves the right to correct any errors in brochures, price lists, website content, or written communication.
2. Guest’s Responsibilities
Booking Information
The guest must check that all booking details are correct, including number of guests, arrival date, and departure date.
Age Requirement
The responsible guest must be at least 18 years old.
If the age requirement is not met, the provider may refuse check-in without refund.
The provider may request identification if considered necessary.
Guest Count
The accommodation may only be occupied by the number of guests stated in the reservation.
Unregistered guests or visitors are strictly prohibited.
House Rules
The guest must follow all house rules provided before and during the stay. Violation of these rules may result in additional charges and/or immediate eviction without refund.
Tromsø BNB House Rules
No parties or large gatherings. Any violation may result in immediate eviction by a security company, and a fee may apply.
Remove shoes and ice cleats at the entrance.
Ice cleats and shoes damage floors. Any flooring damage caused by not following this rule will be charged in full to the guest.
Smoke-free property, both indoors and outdoors. Violation results in a 10,000 NOK cleaning fee.
No pets allowed.
Do not rearrange furniture. All furniture must remain in its original placement.
No unregistered guests or visitors.
Quiet hours from 23:00 to 07:00.
Sort waste correctly as described in the digital guide. Incorrect sorting may result in a fee.
Report accidents immediately. Minor damages can often be resolved at no cost if reported early.
3. Arrival and Stay
Check-in is done through self-check-in as described in the booking confirmation.
The guest must treat the accommodation and its inventory with care.
The provider may request identification at any time during the stay if necessary.
Noise disturbances will be addressed immediately. If the guest does not comply, eviction may occur without refund.
The provider reserves the right to enter the accommodation without notice if there is reason to suspect damage or serious rule violations.
4. Departure
The accommodation must be left tidy according to the following check-out rules:
Check-Out Rules
Check-out time is strictly 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Late check-out incurs a fee of 500 NOK per started hour.
Lock all doors and windows.
Take out the trash and dispose of it in the correct waste containers.
Place used dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle.
Place used towels in the shower.
Remove bedding and place it on the bedroom floor (optional).
Do not wash towels or bed linens yourself.
Report any damages before departure.
Failure to meet the required cleaning standards may result in additional charges based on time spent.
5. Damages and Inventory
The guest is financially responsible for any damage to the accommodation or its inventory caused by negligence, rule violations, or misuse.
Missing or damaged items may be charged at check-out or invoiced afterward.
6. Payment and Fees
For international payments, the guest must cover all bank transfer fees.
The provider must receive the full amount in NOK as stated in the booking confirmation.

8. Prices
All agreed prices are binding. However, the provider reserves the right to adjust prices due to increased taxes, fees, or other circumstances outside the provider’s control.
9. Complaints
Any complaints must be reported to the provider as soon as possible and no later than 10:00 AM the day after arrival.
Failure to report an issue in time may result in loss of any right to compensation.
10. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: from 5:00 PM (unless otherwise specified).
Check-out: no later than 11:00 AM.
11. Disputes
If the guest and provider cannot reach an agreement, disputes shall be handled under Norwegian law in the Nord-Troms District Court.
12. Force Majeure
Events outside the control of either party, such as natural disasters, fire, strike, or other unforeseen circumstances, that make it impossible to fulfill the agreement, give both parties the right to cancel without liability.
13. Privacy Policy
By confirming the reservation, the guest consents to the provider processing their personal data for communication, guest administration, and relevant travel-related information or surveys.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website. Nothing in this disclaimer will:
- limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury;
- limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
- exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.
The limitations and prohibitions of liability set in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort and for breach of statutory duty.
As long as the website and the information and services on the website are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
